Overview
A week-long destination wedding experience in Juneau, Alaska, requiring 8 consecutive days of on-site coordination for approximately 100 guests. In addition to managing the wedding ceremony and reception, Zed designed and executed a full week of daily optional activities to create a cohesive guest experience from arrival through departure.
Contributions
- Served as sole on-site coordinator for all 8 days of the event program
- Managed all vendors for wedding ceremony, reception, catering, florals, photography, and venue
- Designed and coordinated daily optional guest programming: hiking excursions, whale watching tours, wildflower picking, restaurant reservations, Mount Roberts Tramway visit
- Managed logistics for 80+ out-of-town guests including transportation, accommodation coordination, and daily communications
- Handled all day-of ceremony and reception coordination including timeline, setup, and vendor direction
Outcome
Delivered a seamless multi-day destination event experience that functioned as both an intimate wedding and a week-long curated guest retreat — with zero on-site logistics failures across 8 consecutive production days.
